GENERAL
Who is AShamaluevMusic?
AShamaluevMusic is a professional music brand founded by composer Aleksandr Shamaluev. I provide high-quality, impactful music for filmmakers, YouTubers, and brands worldwide. By purchasing a license here, you are getting music directly from the creator.
What does "One License = One Project" mean?
This is the core principle of my store. Each license you purchase grants you the right to use one specific track in one specific "End Product" (e.g., one video, one advertisement, or one game). If you want to use the same track in a second, different project, a new license is required.
What is the difference between your licenses and "Exclusive Rights"?
I only offer non-exclusive licenses. This allows me to keep my music accessible to many creators while I retain the full ownership of my work. I do not sell exclusive rights through this online store.
Can I release your tracks as my own songs on Spotify or Apple Music?
Absolutely not. My licenses are for "Synchronization" only—which means pairing music with visuals (videos, films, etc.). You are not permitted to record your own vocals over my tracks and distribute them as your own songs on streaming platforms.
Do I have to pay every year to keep my video online?
No. All my licenses provide "Life-of-Project" coverage. Once you have published your project during the term of your license, that specific video or project is protected forever. You never have to pay recurring fees for a project that has already been released.
Is your music registered with Performance Rights Organizations (PRO)?
Yes, my works are registered with BMI. When you purchase a license from this store, you receive a direct synchronization grant for your project. If your project is intended for television or radio broadcast, the broadcaster will handle the standard public performance royalties through PRO channels. This ensures that the music you use meets the highest professional industry standards.
Can I use your music for free?
You are welcome to use my music for free in your personal, non-commercial projects (such as home videos, school projects or student films). However, to monetize your content, use it for any brand/business purpose, or to ensure your project is legally protected, I highly recommend purchasing a license. A paid license provides you with an official Certificate of Authorization, clears your channel from copyright claims, and gives you the peace of mind that your project is fully professional and compliant.
Can I use the music for a client project?
Absolutely. If you are a freelancer or a production agency, you can purchase a license on behalf of your client. Just remember the "One License = One Project" rule: the license covers one specific end product for that specific client. If you have a new project for a different client using the same track, a new license must be acquired.
Can I use one track in multiple videos?
Yes. Any of our licenses allow you to create an unlimited number of projects within the duration of your license.

Can I use your music in a film intended for SVOD (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu)?
Yes. For projects destined for major streaming platforms (SVOD), you must select the Premium Sync license. This license grants you the right to synchronize the music within one specific film or documentary for worldwide digital distribution. Since my music is registered with BMI, it is essential that your production team includes the track information in the project's Cue Sheet. This ensures that the platform can properly handle performance royalties. For high-budget original series or major global releases, feel free to contact my team for a custom license agreement.
Can I use your music in a film or documentary?
Yes. One license covers one specific film title (including its trailers and promotional clips). If you are producing a series, you will need a separate license for each episode, or you can contact us for a custom "Series License" deal.
Is your music cleared for TV and Radio broadcast?
Yes, but broadcast usage requires the Premium Sync license. Since my music is registered with BMI, the broadcaster is responsible for filing "Cue Sheets" with their respective Performance Rights Organization. This ensures all legal requirements are met for public performance.
Does the license cover theatrical release?
The Premium Sync license covers independent and film festival theatrical releases. For major worldwide theatrical distribution by a major studio, please contact my team to ensure your license meets the specific requirements of your distributors.
What are Cue Sheets, and do I need to file them?
A Cue Sheet is a document that lists all the music used in a television or film production. If your project is broadcast on TV or Radio, the production company or broadcaster must file a Cue Sheet with BMI (or their local PRO). You will need my composer information (Aleksandr Shamaluev / BMI) which is provided with your license certificate.

AUDIO PROJECTS
Can I use your music in my Podcast?
Yes. Following our "One License = One Project" rule, a single license covers one (1) podcast episode. If you want to use the same music as a consistent intro/outro for your entire show, please contact us for a "Series Sync License" or purchase a separate license for each episode where the music is used.
Can I use your music for Audiobooks?
Yes. One license covers one (1) audiobook title. You can use the music for background atmosphere, transitions, and the book's promotional trailer.
Can I use your music in Meditation or Sleep apps?
Yes, but with one important restriction: the music must be synchronized with other content, such as a voice-over (guided meditation) or an interactive element. You are not permitted to distribute the music as a "standalone" track where the music is the only content.
Is there a limit on the number of audio copies I can sell?
No. Once you have licensed the music for your audiobook or audio project, there is no limit on the number of digital sales or streams for that specific project.
COPIRIGHT & HAAWK
Who is HAAWK, and why are they claiming my video?
HAAWK is a professional rights management company that monitors the use of my music on YouTube (Content ID). When you see a claim from HAAWK, it simply means their automated system has identified my music in your video. This is a standard procedure to protect the music from unauthorized use.
I have a license. Why did I receive a "Copyright Claim"?
Copyright claims are automated. The YouTube system (Content ID) cannot automatically know that you have purchased a license. Receiving a claim is not a copyright strike and does not harm your channel. It is simply a notice that you need to provide your license details to authorize the use of the music.
How do I clear a copyright claim from HAAWK?
It’s very simple. Go to your YouTube Studio, find the claim, and choose the option to "Dispute." In the dispute form, attach your License Certificate (or copy-paste the license information) and state that you have a valid license from AShamaluevMusic. Claims are usually cleared within 24-48 hours.

Will clearing the claim allow me to monetize my video?
Yes. Once the claim is cleared (released), any monetization on the video will be fully restored, and you will receive the revenue generated during the dispute period.

Can I whitelist my YouTube channel?
Channel whitelisting is usually reserved for long-term partners or large-scale Commercial/Premium license holders. For standard "One License = One Project" purchases, clearing claims on a per-video basis is the standard industry practice.

Where exactly can I use the music?
You can use the music across all major digital platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. Additionally, our licenses cover use in Podcasts, Indie Games, Audiobooks, and Corporate Presentations.
Is the music cleared for TV and Radio broadcasting?
Yes. Use on TV, Radio, or in Theatrical Films is permitted under our Premium Sync license. Please ensure you file a "Cue Sheet" with your local PRO (e.g., BMI) as detailed in our Cinema & TV FAQ section.
Can I use the same track in multiple videos for my brand?
Following the "One License = One Project" rule, a single license covers only one (1) unique video or project. If you are creating a series of different videos (e.g., "Video Part 1" and "Video Part 2"), each video requires its own license.
Does the license cover paid advertising (Social Media Ads)?
Yes, but you must choose the Commercial or Premium Sync license for paid promotional content. The Personal/Creator license is intended for organic social media posts and non-sponsored content only.
Can I use your music in a mobile app or a video game?
Yes. One license covers the use of one track in one (1) app or game title. If you release a sequel or a completely different game, a separate license will be required.

Do you offer any discounts for purchasing multiple licenses or bulk orders?

TECHNICAL
In what formats will I receive the music?
Immediately after purchase, you will receive high-quality professional audio files in both WAV (24-bit, 44.1kHz) and MP3 (320kbps) formats, along with your License Certificate in PDF format.
What if I lose my audio files or license certificate?
Don't worry. Your purchase history is safely stored in our system. You can log into your account at any time to re-download your files and certificates. If you checked out as a guest, simply contact our support team with your order number, and we will resend everything to you.
UNLIMITED SUBSCRIPTION
Do you offer an unlimited subscription for all tracks?
Yes! While the shop is designed for individual "Pay-per-Project" licenses, I offer an unlimited subscription model through Patreon. As a patron, you can download any of my 600+ tracks and use them in an unlimited number of videos as long as your subscription is active.
