About Licensing
Elevate your project with professional sound.
I retain full ownership and all copyrights to my musical works. However, I offer non-exclusive licenses that grant you the legal right to synchronize my music with your creative projects. My music is a tool for your storytelling—here is how the licensing works.
The Core Principle: One License = One Project
All licenses on this platform are non-exclusive. This means I grant you permission to use the track while I remain the sole owner of the composition and recording.
Important: Each license is valid for one (1) "End Product" (e.g., one specific video, one advertisement campaign, or one game). If you wish to use the same track in a different, unrelated project, a new license must be purchased.
Have questions? check the FAQ section at the bottom of the page.
*All projects published during the license validity are protected forever.

❓️FAQ
Where can I publish my project and can I use it across multiple platforms?
Yes, you can publish your project on an unlimited number of digital platforms. A single license grants you the right to use the music within one specific project (End Project), which can be distributed as follows:
- All Social Media: YouTube, Instagram (Reels), TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), etc.
- Video Platforms: Vimeo, Twitch, and other video-sharing sites.
- Websites: Your personal website, company landing pages, or official client websites.
What is included in a single license for multi-platform use:
- Multiple Formats: You can adapt the same project into different formats (e.g., a horizontal version for YouTube and vertical versions for Reels/Shorts).
- Paid Advertising: You are allowed to use your finished project for paid social media ad campaigns (Paid Ads / Sponsored Posts) across all platforms.
- Edits & Cutdowns: A single license covers the main video, as well as its short versions (teasers, trailers) and different language versions, provided they represent the same core content.
- Global Reach: There are no geographic restrictions — your video can be viewed worldwide.
Summary: If your video clips are derived from the same production or story, you only need one license to cover all formats and social media platforms.
What counts as "One Project"?
A single license allows you to use the track in one specific production or creative work. However, this project can have multiple versions and formats.
Examples of ONE project (One license is enough):
- Different Formats: You create a main horizontal video for YouTube and make vertical versions (Shorts, Reels, TikTok) of that same content.
- Series & Parts: You film one large video and divide it into several parts (e.g., Part 1, Part 2, Part 3) or a "miniseries" based on the same shoot.
- Language Versions: You produce one video and translate it into different languages for different regions.
- Edits & Cuts: You create a 10-minute vlog and a 30-second "teaser" or "trailer" for that same vlog.
What counts as a NEW project (New license required):
- Using the same track in a completely new video with different footage and a different topic.
- Using the track for a different client.
- Using the track in a new episode of a recurring weekly show (unless it's a theme song used in every intro, which requires a separate agreement).
Summary: If the videos are derived from the same core production or represent different edits of the same story, it is considered one project.
What is a non-exclusive license?
A non-exclusive license grants you the legal right to use a track for a specific project while I retain full ownership of the music. This allows multiple creators to license the same music, making professional-grade sound accessible for various creative works.
Can I use one license for multiple projects?
No. Each license is valid for a single "End Product" (e.g., one specific video, one podcast episode, or one advertisement). If you want to use the same track in a second, different project, you will need to purchase an additional license.
Can I record vocals over the track and release it as my own song?
No. These licenses are for synchronization purposes only (videos, films, games, etc.). You are not permitted to release the music as a song on streaming platforms like Spotify or Apple Music. For artist collaborations or custom production, please contact the team directly.
I am a freelancer. Which license should I buy?
It depends on your End Client:
- If your client is an individual (e.g., a wedding couple or a small hobby vlogger), the Creator License is enough.
- If your client is a business, brand, or organization, or if the video is sponsored by a brand, you must purchase a Commercial License.
Do the licenses expire?
Creator licenses are typically "Lifetime" for the specific project they were bought for. Commercial licenses for advertising often have a term (e.g., 2 years). Please check your specific license tier for its validity period.
Can I use the music for a TV commercial or a Feature Film?
Yes, but you will need the "Broadcast License" license. If your project has a global reach or a high broadcast budget, please reach out via the contact form to negotiate a custom agreement tailored to your needs.
Am I allowed to edit or "remix" the music?
You may perform basic edits (cutting, looping, fading) to fit the music to your visual content. However, you cannot create a "remix," "edit," or new musical work based on the track for independent release.
How do I receive my files and license?
Immediately after purchase, you will receive a download link via email containing the high-quality audio files (WAV/MP3) and your digital License Agreement as a PDF.
Will I get a copyright strike on YouTube?
No. Once you purchase a license, you have the legal right to use the music. If you receive a "Content ID" claim, simply upload your license certificate or invoice to YouTube to clear it. For major campaigns, we can whitelist your channel in advance.
🛡 What should I do if my video receives a copyright claim?
Don’t worry! A "Copyright Claim" is an automated notification from YouTube/social media, not a "Strike." It does not hurt your channel.
Check the step-by-step instructions on how to clear copyright on YouTube videos, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms.
🛡 Why am I using Content ID?
To ensure the highest level of security for my music and your content, all tracks are registered in the official identification systems:
- YouTube Content ID: via HAAWK.
- META (Facebook/Instagram) Content ID: via Warner Music Group.
- TikTok: via CDbaby.
This registration protects my music from being stolen and, most importantly, safeguards your videos. Without official registration, third parties could falsely claim your content. By managing this through official partners, I ensure that only valid licenses can clear these claims.
🛡 Received a Claim? Don't Panic!
If you receive a notification from HAAWK, Warner Music Group, or CDbaby, please remember:
- ✅ It is NOT a copyright strike.
- ✅ It does NOT delete your video.
- ✅ It does NOT limit your views or reach.
- ✅ It does NOT affect your channel or page status.
A claim is simply an automated notice that the system has identified the music. It only temporarily limits monetization on that specific video until the claim is cleared using your license.
How to Clear a Claim in Minutes:
Clearing a claim is a standard, fast process. Once you provide your license details, the claim will be removed, and monetization will be restored to you.
